as reinforced tyre and rammed-earth technology as load bearing walls ( forming the building envelope ). Eco-bricks were used as internal decorative dividing walls with a strong emphasis on passive design interventions to achieve thermal performance during seasonal periods .
In order to achieve these sustainable goals , conventional and unconventional proven green technology solutions were combined to reduce the carbon emission of the building and encourage a renewable resource thinking approach to the project .
Biophilic Design The design concept was inspired by the biophilic design principles that encourage human engagement with the natural environment through the interaction of direct nature , indirect nature , and space and place conditions . Biophilic Design is central to the design scheme which is revealed through the design form , the orientation of building , the use of natural materials and the expression thereof , the harnessing of natural sunlight and passive ventilation to filter through the internal spaces and roof garden , forming the nexus of human engagements with the environment .
