VENT-AXIA EXPANDS DUDLEY PRODUCTION FACILITIES
Leading British ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia has expanded its Dudley Manufacturing Centre to meet growing demand for low-carbon ventilation. Located on the Blackbrook Valley Industrial Estate, the site now includes a dedicated factory for commercial and industrial products, new equipment, extra warehouse space, and additional staff— boosting capacity, efficiency, and lead times.
The expansion supports increased production of Vent-Axia’ s Sentinel Apex range, including a new streamlined flow line for faster manufacturing and greater stockholding for rapid delivery. This coincides with the Sentinel Apex commercial MVHR range achieving Passivhaus Certification, confirming its suitability for low and zero-carbon buildings ahead of the Future Homes Standard.
With models offering up to 93 % heat recovery efficiency, ultra-low noise, and intelligent demand-controlled ventilation, the range ensures outstanding indoor air quality and energy performance. UK-manufactured and fully serviceable, the Sentinel Apex has been designed with a low embodied carbon footprint and easy end-of-life recycling, supporting sustainable building goals.
DOMUS VENTILATION DUCTING DELIVERING COMFORT AT YORK APARTHOTEL
Domus Ventilation rigid ducting has been installed at a new luxury aparthotel in one of York’ s most architecturally renowned streets, Micklegate, as part of the Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery( MVHR) system installed throughout the new development.
Contributing to the comfort of guests, the MVHR system in place extract stale air, and transfer the heat from it to the fresh air drawn into the building. But an MVHR can only perform to its best ability when paired with suitable, quality ducting. Domus Ventilation ducting has exacting tolerances and connects together for minimal air and moisture loss and maximum system efficiency. The ducting has been designed to work in harmony as part of a system and has been third party tested for end-to-end system performance.
Domus 204x60 Rigid Duct and fittings have been used at the new Micklegate aparthotel throughout, along with Domus sound attenuators.
