Trish Wettenhall of Triandibo Stud, located in Seville East, Victoria, has been a part of the Australian Quarter Horse industry for 0ver 40 years.

Starting out as a complete beginner Western rider, after purchasing her first Quarter Horse gelding by Bar Bells Star. After meeting then husband Dick Fuchs they created Triandibo Quarter Horses at Yarra Junction with the help of Trisha’ s parents Bob and Anne Wettenhall. With a clear focus on producing good looking, athletic, intelligent, and versatile horses, Trish has built her breeding program around the careful selection of proven sires and exceptional mare lines. Her dedication and expertise have resulted in an extraordinary achievement— Training 3 and breeding and training the most resent inductee AQHA Hall of Fame inductees: the chestnut gelding Triandibo Flamin Lynx Q-47904, the black stallion Inevitably Q-33094,* Imp( DEC) and the buckskin gelding Yulgilbar Quick Silver Q-10032.

This accomplishment is unmatched in the Australian Quarter Horse Association, making Trish the only breeder and competitor to have three horses inducted into the Hall of Fame. Her ongoing contribution to the industry is widely recognised, and the horses bred at Triandibo Stud continue to exemplify the very best qualities of the Quarter Horse— versatility, intelligence, and true performance excellence.
When asked how she hopes her Hall of Fame inductions will inspire the next generation of AQHA breeders, Trish Wettenhall shares a clear vision: that these recognitions will encourage others to embrace the full versatility of the Quarter Horse. She hopes the AQHA Awards serve as a reminder that success doesn’ t have to come from specialising in just one discipline. Instead, she encourages breeders and competitors alike to explore the wide range of events AQHA offers, showcasing the true adaptability, trainability, and athleticism of the breed across multiple arenas.
These awards are a true testament to Trish Wettenhall’ s commitment to the Western Industry her breeding and training program
