2024 WARWICK GOLD CUP CHAMPION

2025 TRANS-TASMAN EVENT 29th September - 5th October , 2025 TATURA PARK , TATURA VICTORIA
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN CLOSING : 29th NOVEMBER , 2024
The 2025 Trans-Tasman event will be held from the 29th September to the 5th October 2025 at Tatura Park , Tatura , Victoria . Nomination NOW OPEN from the 1st October and will close 29th November , 2024 . Held bi-annually , the Trans-Tasman Challenge is a co-operative effort of the Australian Quarter Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association of New Zealand , which is designed to foster leadership , sportsmanship and camaraderie between the Australian and New Zealand quarter horse competitors . Traditionally only Youth Teams participated , but more recently the Amateurs from both countries now also take part in the Challenge . Trans-Tasman is not just a challenge between the two countries , but an opportunity to gain new skills , make new friends , have some fun and represent your Country in the sport that you love . Team members are required to compete in specific classes at the Challenge , which include , but are not limited to , Showmanship , Western Pleasure , Western Horsemanship , Trail , Western Riding , Reining , Hunter Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation . The 2 countries take turns in hosting this great event .
