GOALS IN THE SADDLE AND BEYOND
Among Renee’ s personal ambitions is winning an encouragement draft on one of her own horses a goal that reflects both determination and belief in the horses she produces. Looking further ahead, she dreams of owning her own property, continuing to campdraft competitively on her own horses and achieving success across multiple events.
Her passion for livestock extends beyond the competition arena. Renee owns her own cows, calves and dogs, and maintains a strong interest in showing cattle at local agricultural shows a testament to her genuine love of animals and rural life.
When approached by AQHA to represent the Association in the 2026 Quest, Renee embraced the opportunity as a chance to grow, gain experience and step outside her comfort zone. Having long admired the achievements of the Nutrien Classic Ladies and the charitable impact of the Foundation, she was eager to learn more and contribute to its work.
A HIGHLY COMMENDED ACHIEVEMENT
The 2026 Nutrien Classic Ladies Foundation Young Ambassadors Quest proved to be a transformative experience.
The AQHA is incredibly proud to congratulate Renee Atfield, our 2026 AQHA Representative, on being awarded Highly Commended at this year’ s Classic Ladies Foundation Young Ambassadors Quest.
Renee embraced every aspect of the program with enthusiasm, authenticity and professionalism. She
represented the AQHA with passion and a genuine love for the industry, leaving a lasting impression on fellow ambassadors, organisers and supporters alike.
Beyond the accolade itself, Renee’ s commitment to learning, connecting and pushing beyond her comfort zone truly reflects the purpose of the Young Ambassadors Quest developing strong, capable young leaders for the future of the rural and equine industries.
Importantly, the Quest also supports two remarkable charities: Farm Angels( formerly Drought Angels) and My Room Children’ s Cancer Charity. Throughout the program, Renee played a role in raising awareness and funds for these vital causes, further demonstrating her understanding that leadership extends beyond personal achievement.
