It has been pleasing to see an increase again this past year in the interest of Versatility Ranch showing . The AQHA is trying to incentivise Versatility Ranch by offering trophy buckles for every class and the High point Awards at the 2024 Nationals . Also the AQHA

- Portfolio : Show & Performance
This year I have taken on the Show and Performance portfolio . I have found it to be both interesting and challenging at times during the year . The next rule book is due to be released in Aug 2024 and myself and the Show and Performance subcommittee have been working on rule changes / enhancements for this upcoming rule book .
I would like to thank my subcommittee for their hard work and commitment to the AQHA . We have had a few members submit rule change request forms and

- Portfolio : Amateur Report
This year I have taken on the Show and Performance Amateur report 2023 . 2022 / 2023 saw the introduction of a Super Select incentive at Q23 . The Super Select is to recognise our older riders ( 65 years old & over ) in our pattern classes . In 2023 / 2024 , we will see this incentive extended to our state shows and Q24 and we encourage clubs to adopt this incentive where the memberships support it .
We continued to get good numbers supporting our Teams ’ Challenges at state and nationals , in most states team numbers increased from the previous year . We will continue running these to further encourage camaraderie within our membership .
Last year we assisted the AQHA in the Breed Village at Equitana . It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our breed and interact with the public answering questions and sharing our love of horses . I encourage any amateurs that would like to get involved at Equitana 2024 to get in contact with myself .

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the mandatory Australian Accounting Standards .
will be providing Trophy Buckles for the High point awards at all State 2024 Versatility Ranch shows .
So can we urge all members to consider competing at any Versatility Ranch Shows in their area .

With Covid restrictions seeming to be behind us , the Amateur Division are looking to restart our Amateur clinics across the states . Please ensure you have selected the option for your contact details to be shared so the Amateur Division can continue to send surveys out to members . Affiliates will be able to apply for a subsidy from the Amateur Division to assist in running these clinics .
2022 saw the return of the Trans-Tasman Challenge which was held in Australia . The next Trans-Tasman Challenge will be held in New Zealand in Sept 2024 with applications closing in Nov 2023 . It is a brilliant opportunity to grow on your horsemanship skills as well as making new friendships all whilst being able to represent your country .
I encourage any feedback , suggestions , or initiatives you may have so we can look into these for the benefit of our wider membership .

board and the members show a very strong bottom line for the business . The improved trading was directly attributed to the increase in registrations and transfers on a day-to-day basis . Strong growth was evident in the sales market with record prices being delivered to the vendors .
The EOY results for the association presented to the
