our riding prowess (definitely a work in progress
for me). Cafes turning into takeaway venues and
gin distilleries now making hand sanitisers.
Search out Australia’s trainers and see what they
are willing to provide during this unusual time.

5. CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY - Companies are
donating money, food and medical equipment to
support people affected by the coronavirus.
Our horse community have donated horse gear to
people that are struggling or been affect by a
natural disaster.
6. REIMAGINED EDUCATION - A massive change
in how education is delivered. True, most of it
was not by choice. Many teachers are digitalising
the classroom in Primary, Secondary and
Universities, offering online education, educational
games and tasks and self-led learning.

Home-schooling is becoming the new way of
learning, exposing many parents to what their
children know and do.
So are our Trainers able to educate us from
different States.
7. GRATITUDE - It is giving us a new sense of
appreciation and gratefulness. Everything we have
taken for granted for so long has been highlighted
and friends. We never thought this could
be suddenly taken away from us.
We have learnt to appreciate the little things
and say, ‘Thank You’.
We are thankful for so many simple things:
• our horse’s friendship and loyalty
• horses maintain our mental wellbeing
• calling a friend that we would normally only
see at Shows or Affiliate Club gatherings
• our family
• our HORSES
THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO:
1. Affiliate Shows
2. Clinics
3. Nationals in November or later if necessary
4. Friends to ride with
5. Foals
6. Travelling interstate
7. Showing my ‘Scattergories’, ‘Yahtzee’, ‘
Jenga’, ‘Pictionary’ skills
