Time Earnings after his second show
is $14,757.00. This makes him the
second highest money earner within
RA for the season. Gunner Reload
was bred by Macobri Farm, and
sired by Gunner and out of the mare
Skeets Remedy.
Peter is no stranger to the Reining
industry and over the years he has
spent time with top trainers, both
here in Australia and in the USA,
who inspired him to train and show
his horses competitively. In 2004
he travelled to Texas and me t up
with friends, Jason Wordsworth and
Dale Bennett, who were residing
there and training Reiners at the
time. Peter rode some top horses,
including a colt called Einstein’s
Revolution, as a two year old, who
was being trained by Ruben Van
Dorp at the time. This colt went on to
be a leading money earner and sire.
Whilst with Dale he met Open Rider,
Dwayne Latimer, who was one of the
leading money earners working out
of Bob Loomis’s Ranch. Peter was
fortunate to ride with Dwayne and
got to see what it takes to train and
show at an elite level. The exposure
allowed him to gain a better insight
into what it takes to be a competitive
Reiner and how to maintain a
show horse – he often drew on this
inspiration.
Peter has had a few memorable
moments on different horses that
