MARKETING REPORT - MARCH / APRIL 2025

The 2025 National Championships is fast approaching and we are excited to see entries already flowing in as we make plans to build on a very successful show last year !
We are looking forward to seeing returning and new members at our Q25 Welcome Dinner which is held in conjunction with the Youth Auction Fundraiser . Our Media Team will be in attendance ' snapping ’ shots in front of our AQHA Media Wall so please come with your best smiles .
This year we will be working to elivate the media coverage of the National Show , delivering a positive event to our social network , assisting in promotion of the Australian Quarter Horse and informing the members of news and results .
As you may have already seen , Q25 Limited Edition Merchandise is now available to purchase on icompete with your entries . Orders must be placed prior to the 3rd March , 2025 to ensure that your items are ready for pickup when you arrive at the National Championships .
As we continue to discuss 2025 partnerships with new & existing sponsors , the AQHA ’ s long-term relationship with Affinity Insurance Brokers proposes an exciting exclusive partnership that could see members who insur with AIB assisting in growing our event funding . Western District Quarter Horse association hosted the Victorian State show in January . Whilst the weather was a bit extreme with very hot days a great show was ran with good numbers . Well done to the WDQHA committee . All the best to Tassie , WA and Qld who all have their state shows running in March .
A Zoom meeting was had on the 13th Feb for all Victorian affiliates to first , discuss the ongoing running of the Vic State show . With venues at a premium , a tentative booking has been made for 2025 . At the meeting a call was made for any affiliate to put there hand up to run the show . Please reach out if this is something your club would be interested in .
All unopposed show dates were discussed and decided on for the 25 / 26 show calender year and all dates have been supplied to the office .
A new Affiliate , South Burnett quarter Horse Cutters Inc was put forward to the board and has now been approved .
With show season well under way please ensure you are getting all your required paperwork to Jo in the office on time .
Jo is currently developing a procedure process that will be sent to all affiliates . This will provide all the information needed to apply for show approvals , putting in points ect . This will be a great resource for all affiliates .
