2022 ARBC AUSTRALIA ’ S GREATEST HORSEMAN EVENT Certainly attracted some of the best horse and rider combinations to compete for a prize pool of over $ 40,000 , a QRS Equine Services Trophy Saddle and the title of Australia ’ s Greatest Horseman .
Starting the competition was 2 handed cutting and Drywork down the fence segment to narrow the field down to their top 15 horse and rider combinations .
Some big cheques for the first go round , top horse and rider combinations in both Drywork and Down the Fence as well as the Two-Handed Cutting Segments were presented as the Top 15 Finalists were announced .

With all Finalists and their horses introduced to the crowd of excited spectators it was time for the first run of the evening Peps Double Rey ridden by Mark Buttsworth to begin the exciting finals . Unbeknown to Mark at the time that he would take out the 2022 Championship Title with this run .
All finalists certainly showcased the talent of the horse and rider combinations in the Drywork & Down the Fence section in front of an excited crowd .
The Championship Title holder was crowned in front of a great crowd of excited spectators . “ Mark Buttsworth riding Peps Double Rey ”, owned by the Buttsworth Family .
Congratulations goes out to Mark Buttsworth riding Peps Double Rey owned by the Buttsworth Family , ARBC ’ s 2022 Australia ’ s Greatest Horseman . This combination competed against some of the best horsemen , women and horses in the country .
Mark picked up a Cheque for $ 15,000 , the AGH Championship Buckle , Perpetual Cup , garland sponsored by Simply Sensational Garland , and the winning back shield presented in a framed memorabilia box along with his Championship Jacket . ( insert the image of mark with his number , cheque presented at the dinner ).
The ARBC Australia ’ s Greatest Horseman certainly was the crowd favourite with a strong crowd of spectators keen to cheer on the field of Finalists on Friday Evening competitors .
