1999 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE
The Australian Quarter Horse Association honours RADOO R1-5699 with induction into the Hall of Fame.
SIRE: QUARTER FREEDOM Q-159 DAM: JESSY FM-08092 BREEDER: MORTON BROTHERS, WAGGA. NSW OWNER: R. M. & E. J. SCHILLER, YOUNG. NSW
Just to mention the word“ versatility” to the Western enthusiasts of the late 1970’ s and during the 1980’ s, and they would respond with one word –“ RADOO”.
Owned and ridden by the Schiller family, RADOO was soon to gain the reputation as an allrounder.
Not only was he a great competitor, but he was part of the family. It was not unusual to see both Schiller boys hop on his back with no saddle or bridle and do a neat reining run around the arena at the end of the day’ s showing.
They would then slide off him and RADOO would follow them to his stall on the showgrounds.
