VALE ~ GARY MARSHALL
The AQHA wishes to advise members of the passing of long time member, Gary Marshall. Gary was one of the early trainers of Quarter Horses in Western Australia and trained horses for all disciplines of our breed. His daughter Holly Wilkie is one of Australia ' s leading pleasure horse trainers.
Gary worked for several leading studs in WA and to his credit promoted Quarter Horses passionately in Western Australia. The AQHA Board of Directors and members pass on there condolences to Gary ' s family & friends at this sad time.
VALE ~ CHRISTINE BAUMANN
The AQHA wishes to advise its members of the passing of long time AQHA member, Christine Baumann. Chris was a passionate breeder and exhibitor of Quarter Horses and was a great friend to all that knew her. Living at Werris Creek in NSW, with her husband, Link, they stood several quality stallions and expertly managed imported semen from leading stallions from the USA.
Alongside these efforts, they bred and cared for a number of outstanding, provenproducing mares, making a lasting impact on our Quarter Horse industry. The AQHA Board of Directors and members send their condolences to her family & friends.
VALE ~ DAVE CHRISTENSON
The AQHA wishes to notify the passing of a long time AQHA member and competitor of the association. Dave Christenson was an active member in the early years of the AQHA showing horses in just about every discipline we cover.
He was a great mentor to many riders and youth back then and originally at Kilcoy in Qld and later moved to Gin Gin. Dave is survived by his wife Pearl and his daughter Debbie and immediate family. The AQHA Board of Directors and members send their condolences to her family & friends.
VALE ~ MICHAEL GLASSER
The AQHA wishes to notify the passing of a long time AQHA member and competitor of the association. Michael Glasser from Victoria was an active competitor in cutting and cattle events and was one of Australia ' s leading stud stock auctioneers, he was active in most states of Australia and is survived by his wife Mazz and family.
The AQHA Board of Directors and members, extend their sincere sympathies to Michael ' s family & friends at this sad time.
