enthusiasts from many nations . The members chosen for Team Australia will represent Australia not only in horsemanship skills , but also in International good will . The YWC gives our youth a unique opportunity to learn in a ‘ hands on ’ setting with other international quarter horse enthusiasts .
The Youth World Cup application and briefing documents will soon be in circulation , and on the website , and although the host country hasn ’ t yet been confirmed , we are looking forward to the YWC in 2025 . This is a fantastic opportunity for our youth to make lifelong friends and memories . Cutting , Reining , Ranch Riding , Trail , Hunter Under Saddle , Hunt Seat Equitation , Horsemanship , and Showmanship , are the events offered , and we encourage anyone interested to apply .
Our Youth are busy fundraising to go towards free youth clinics around the states , so keep a watch out for raffles and Online Auctions to help support our future . The youth will again be running an auction at the welcome dinner at Q24 again this year , so bring you spare change , and anything you may like to donate for them to auction .
We are in the process of organizing a free youth cow / horsemanship clinic with Dan Steers early 2024 , keep a watch out for the information to follow . This event will be capped at twenty ( 20 ) participants .
Please feel free to contact me with any questions , concerns or ideas you may have .
Regards Liz Keating- Youth Director
We are now starting to see the first of our Amateur clinics being run by the Amateur Division and will be expanding these out around the country for our Amateur members to attend and further their skills .
With state shows around the corner , we will see the continuation of our Super Select incentive and our Amateur teams challenge with new prizes up for grabs organised by our Amateur Division . I recommend all Amateurs attending a state or national show to nominate for these challenges as a way to interact with and support fellow Amateurs .

Although , in the current climate with the high cost of living and other pressures I am conscious of the fact

that running shows is very difficult at the moment and an exercise that requires a lot of work from our hard-working affiliate members .
I have been in contact with several affiliate committee members who have contacted me to advise just how hard
