61. ROMS AND OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS
Each of the following awards can only be won once by any
particular horse.
Points will be gained during the lifetime of the horse, and
will not be limited to any one year. To be eligible, horses
must be registered in the Associat ion‟s Stud Book, the
Appendix Registry or the Performance Registry.
When any award is made, the appropriate Association
recognition will be forwarded to the person recorded as the
owner of the horse.
The Registration of any horse will be cancelled by the
Association if the owner fraudulently advertises or claims
that his horse is entitled to any Association Award prior to
the award being given by the Association.
All awards are Open Awards unless otherwise described.
61.1 Register of Merit Halter
May be awarded by the Association at its discretion to any
registered horse after it has been awarded twenty (20)
halter points, of which at least fifteen (15) must be „A‟
points.
61.2 Register of Merit Performance
May be awarded by the Association, at its discretion, to any
registered horse after it has been awarded twenty (20)
points in more than one (1) performance class, excluding
Racing, of which at least fifteen (15) must be „A‟ points.
61.3 Register of Merit (Any Single Performance Class)
May be awarded by the Association, at its discretion, to any
registered horse after it has been awarded twenty (20)
points in any particular performance class, of which at least
fifteen (15) must be „A‟ points.
61.4 Superior Halter Horse
May be awarded by the Association, at its discretion, to a
registered horse after it has been awarded sixty (60) halter
points, of which at least thirty (30), must be „A‟ points.
61.5 Superior Performance Horse
(Any single Performance class)
May be awarded by the Association, at its discretion, to any
registered horse after it has been awarded sixty (60) points
in any particular performance class, of which at least thirty
(30) must be „A‟ points.
61.6 Century Awards
(Halter or Any Single Performance Class)
May be awarded by the Association, at its discretion, to any
registered horse after it has been awarded the following
points:
Bronze Century100 points - Minimum of 75 “A” points
Silver Century 200 points - Minimum of 150 “A” points
Gold Century 300 points - Minimum of 225 “A” points
61.7 Australian Quarter Horse Champion
May be awarded by the Association, at its discretion, to any
registered horse after it has:
a) Been awarded at least twenty (20) Halter points, of
which at least fifteen (15) must be „A‟ points; and
b) Been awarded at least twenty (20) points in each of two
(2) separate performance classes, of which at least
fifteen (15) must be „A‟ points in each of the two (2)
separate performance classes; and
