46. APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS
46.1 “A” Approved Agricultural
No prize money required;
a) Mandatory Halter classes:
Minimum of six (6) Halter classes restricted to Quarter
Horses only registered with the AQHA:
Stallion 4 years and over
Colt 3 years and under
Champion & Reserve
Gelding 4 years and over
Gelding 3 years and under
Champion & Reserve
Mare 4 years and over
Filly 3 years and under
Champion & Reserve
b) Mandatory Performance Classes:
Minimum one (1) Trail class
Minimum one (1) Western Pleasure class
Minimum one (1) Hunter under Saddle class
If the minimum of only one (1) Trail, one (1) Western
Pleasure and one (1) Hunter under Saddle class is
held, these classes must be “ALL AGE”.

All classes that are to be run on the program must be
listed on the program when applying for approval.
46.2 “A” Approved Shows or Programs (other than
