b) The Association will not sanction any event to be held
on the same dates as any State Show or scheduled
Judging clinic/seminar, in that State;
c) The Association will not sanction any event to be held on
the same dates as the National Show in any State;
d) To gain AQHA approval, an approved event must be
open to Quarter Horse owners and competitors who are
members in good standing with the Association.
Approved performance classes may be open to horses
of other relevant breeds. Exception: See Rule 47;
e) Shows or programs that have been granted approval in
the following point‟s year, are subject to any rules that
become effective from 1st August of that year.
f) Approval is only given six (6) months in advance for any
Show or program, with the exception of State shows;
g) AQHA Affiliates, and other recognised organisations,
may apply for approval of their program and:
i) they must apply on an official application form;
ii) they must apply thirty (30) clear days prior to the
show;
iv) the name of the Judge must be lodged with the
AQHA office twenty-one (21) days before the first
day of the show;
h) No Show or program will be considered until all
paperwork, as requested by the Association, has been
lodged with the appropriate fee, and is complete and
correct;
i) All approved shows and programs, depending on the
type of program
