Secretary ’ s Report : Leslie Mason Motion made by James Duenow , seconded by Amber Duncanson to approve the January 12 th , 2022 , Board Meeting Minutes . Motion carried unanimously .
Treasurer ’ s Report : Arlene Bayer

Arlene was absent . Reviewed the Balance Sheet and Income Statement . YTD Net Income ( Loss ) is ($ 21,358.70 ). The profit from this year ’ s Champ Show was $ 32,405.94 . In the Profit / Loss Comparison , the Champ Show numbers are close . Of the total entry funds of $ 92,688.89 , this still needs to be broken out between Champ Show entries and Futurity entries . Motion made by Steve Tibbetts , seconded by Kevin Berger , to accept the Treasurer ’ s Report subject to audit from January 31 , 2022 . Motion carried unanimously .
Correspondence : There are 145 clubs renewed to date , last year 153 clubs were renewed to date .
Committee Reports :
Championship Horse Show : Steve Tibbetts Looking into purchasing trophies from The Trophy House . Will need to order a minimum quantity of 500 and will order some extra , for a total of 525 trophies . They will end up costing $ 38.75 per trophy . A deposit in the amount of $ 10,171.88 is due , and the balance will be due in August . The trophies cannot be guaranteed to arrive in time for Champ Show , due to shipping overseas . An alternate plan would need to be put in place if they do not arrive by Champ Show . We have about 20-25 trophies left , so at least we would have trophies for people to take their pictures with . The Board questioned if there were alternative options for ordering trophies . If we were to investigate other options , a decision would need to be made within the next 24-48 hours . Motion made by Steve Bobzin , seconded by Ann Goebel to investigate for two days to explore other options , otherwise move forward with ordering from Trophy House . Motion carried . One opposed .
Computer : Jake Flodquist Fielding questions from members for renewing on-line memberships . Working on modifying reports for club membership reporting . The computer has been ordered for Leslie , will help her set up the computer
Drills and Squares : Marlys Mooney Steve will contact Sam at the State Fair to see what they are planning on doing for premiums . Wright Saddle Club said they will perform at the Fair , but Menomonie will not if there are not added premiums .
Futurity : Kathy Murphy Absent . Nothing to report .
Historian : Tim Wampfler Absent . Nothing to report .
