Spirit Aerosystems Information Session
Ten students from S4-6 took part in the Spirit Aerosystems Aerospace Information session as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week . The event was supported by DYW Ayrshire and hosted on site at Spirit in the Aerospace Innovation Centre with representatives from across the Aerospace Sector including Collins , Woodward , Chevron , Ryanair , Etek and GE Aviation . Students heard first-hand from these companies , and current apprentices , about apprenticeships in the sector . Ayrshire College , SDS and the University of Strathclyde were also on-hand to provide information about the qualifications that are also gained from completing Modern and Graduate Engineering apprenticeships .

We were delighted to have Kier return to Marr College to speak with Senior students . The team also met with groups of S3 and S4 students to talk about careers across the construction industry , including marketing , communications , law and more !
