SQA Assignments
It has been a busy month in the Business Education Department with senior students working hard to complete their SQA Assignments – we wanted to say well done to all our students who made sure their work was submitted on time .
Foundation Apprenticeship
Our
Foundation Apprenticeship students were sitting some additional industry exams and we are delighted to announce that Abbie Chilton was successful in passing 3 exams to achieve her Microsoft Office Specialist Exam .
We are also very proud of Scot Hollinsworth who achieved a pass in his Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Associate exams .
Admin Saturday Study Session !
We wanted to say well done to the Higher and National 5 Administration & IT students who attended a recent Saturday Study Session in the run up to their final assignment . this gave students an additional opportunity to work on their practical abilities using the school PCs .
A reminder that supported study is also on a Monday after school , Easter school is on offer and there are Masterclass sessions on a Tuesday Period 3 ( Miss Wyllie ) and Friday Period 5 ( Mrs Stevenson ).

The Apprentice Challenge
Our S2 students have been taking part in the Apprentice Challenge . They are tasked with one of the same tasks the candidates face on the well-known TV show .
Students are working in teams to design and market a toothbrush , app and character for young people aged 6-8 years old .
Students have been working hard to think about the Marketing Mix for their news product , carrying out Market Research in Digital Enterprise , creating promotional materials and designing their app and character in Computing Science .

There will be a winning team from each class who get an Easter Egg as a prize !
