that reservation and social upliftment could help integrate backward communities into the national mainstream. However, the results suggest otherwise.
Despite ruling for over 50 years, Congress failed to significantly improve literacy, women’ s empowerment, or employment among Muslims— proving its love for minorities was more electoral than genuine.
Left-Congress Nexus and the Islamist Agenda
The influence of leftist intellectuals on Congress ' s casteist and minority appeasement ideology is clearly visible. Congress and the left focus their politics on minorities, primarily Muslims and Christians. They push the narrative of“ social justice,” but their real goal is to divide Hindus and create communal rifts while ensuring Muslim dominance.
The secularism of Congress was crafted by leftists with the aim of implementing Islamic governance in India— making Muslims first-class citizens while Hindus remain fragmented by caste. From Bengal to Kerala, left and Congress parties have tried to promote this agenda, leading to rising Islamist influence in those regions.
Even if Congress fights the Left in Kerala, nationally, it promotes the same political agenda.
Dr. Ambedkar and Social Justice
All parties claim Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’ s legacy, mainly for vote-bank politics. However, few truly uphold his values. Dr. Ambedkar was among India’ s most visionary leaders. He championed both social equality for Dalits and the idea of a strong, united India.
The Constitution is rooted in the spirit of social justice, with provisions for adapting to changing social and cultural realities. However, Congress and other anti-Hindu parties have distorted his vision to benefit Muslims and Christians for electoral gains. The real question now is: How long will opposition parties continue to misuse the Constitution in the name of Muslim reservation?
