Social Sundays are back this spring |
In February , we held a “ Love is in the Air ” Valentine ’ s themed bingo party with heart-shaped cookies , chocolate galore and lots of fabulous raffle and bingo prizes once again .

Dressed in a fabulous pink ensemble , Dave and Deb Mauk served as guest bingo caller couple extraordinaire . Once again , we had a full house with all ages represented from 6 to 94 . Our singa-long included tunes such as : “ You are my Sunshine ,” “ I love you a Bushel and a Peck ,” and “ Make New Friends ” in a round . Our playlist included : “ Love is In the Air ,” “ Muskrat Love ,” “ I Can ’ t Help Falling in Love With You ,” and many more over-thetop expressions of sweet musical sentiment . Keith Weir did a guest appearance dance with his walker and shared the story of

how he met his wife of forty years . If you have not experienced one of our bi-monthly themed bingo parties ( they are about so much more than bingo ), what are you waiting for ? Bring the kids and grandkids , a dish to share , your better half , a bottle of wine or a buddy . Be ready to laugh , mingle and have a great time . You could win a giant stuffed animal , a spa certificate , a Mod pizza or a free game of golf . In March , Social Sundays was on hiatus , but we are back in April with a new and exciting theme : Spring Fling ! |
APRIL SOCIAL SUNDAY ! SPRING FLING BINGO & SING-A-LONG |
Social Sundays are always held the third Sunday of each month , from 3-5:30 or 6 p . m . Most often these events are in the card room of the clubhouse . Residents , friends and family are all welcome . All events are free of charge , don ’ t require sign-up and are appropriate for ages pre-school and up . Every other month we have a themed bingo and sing-a-long party with many prizes for all ages and interests from local sponsors such as Soak Box , The Charbonneau Salon , Touch of Jade Massage , Crumbl Cookies and our own generous residents ! In the alternate months , we have unique events such as storytelling or karaoke .
This month , join us for SPRING FLING

BINGO ! We will be decorating with flowers and seasonal items , playing and singing songs that remind us of the season , popping our signature popcorn in the vintage machine and laughing as usual .
COMMUNITY CLUB : Saturday , April 13
Join us for a special “ Crafting ” Community Club from 2:30-5 p . m ., in addition to the regular board game , art , snacks and lounge experience with pool , ping pong , shuffleboard and darts . All ages ! Adult appropriate ! In the card room of the clubhouse .

materials provided , and projects for all ages , preschool to adult . You may also bring your own independent project to work on in good company . The vintage popcorn machine will be popping , potluck snacks will be on offer , drinks will be on hand , and music will be playing in the background for inspiration .
