This month at the library we have many events to bring you out into the lovely spring weather , and back into the library !

For adults :
At 6 p . m . on Mondays , April 3 , 10 and 17 , at please join us for our Spanish Beginning 2 class . You need only a smattering of Spanish under your belt to succeed ! We will provide you with the tools you need to use the Spanish language ( grammar & vocabulary ) so that you can communicate and function in a variety of real-life situations ( reading , listening , speaking and writing in Spanish ). On Tuesdays in April our free ESL class will meet at 10:30 a . m . This class focuses on beginning English , but anyone
wanting to improve their English may attend this informal class . No registration necessary — just drop in !
Got an itch to write ? Why not attend our Strong Women / Archetypes Writing Class from 6-8 p . m . Wednesdays , April 5 through May 10 . Presented by Gretchen Van Lente , MA , short story writer and novelist , the class will explore archetypes such as the maid , the mother , the wise woman and the wild woman as inspiration for your own creative and original stories . The class will also include power archetypes such as the queen , the goddess and the priestess , as well as the healer and the warrior . You will explore writing skills through the use of narrative and through an exploration of strong female archetypes . Our popular PROFILES lectures will continue at 11 a . m . on Wednesday , April 5 . Taught by Emeritus Professor Bill Thierfelder , this online program looks at the life and poetry of Robert Frost . His work , initially published in England before it was published in the United States , was known for its realistic depictions of rural life and its command of American colloquial speech . Saturday , April 8 , we ’ re hosting our first Repair Fair ! Fix-it pros will attempt to repair or mend your items and may teach
