This spring offers a variety of opportunities for Charbonneau residents to get involved in . We hope to see you at the Country Club !
WINKLER BINGO at Charbonneau : Have fun and win prizes !
Bingo at Charbonneau is scheduled for 1 p . m . Tuesday , April 25 , in the CCC Dining Room . The cost is $ 10 to play six games . Bring your own beverages and an appetizer to share at your table . Sign up today at the Activity Center front desk ! All proceeds will go to Boys & Girls Aid .
Prevent Falls & Stay Independent Workshop
Are you concerned about falling or know someone who is ? Falls are the leading cause of injury amongst older adults and can have serious consequences . But the good news is that falls can be prevented !
You are invited to attend Prevent Falls & Stay Independent Workshop and learn how to reduce your risk of falling . The workshop will cover :
� Common causes of falls and how to avoid them
� Exercises to improve balance , strength and flexibility
� Tips for creating a safe home environment
� Strategies for managing medication and health conditions that increase fall risk
� What to do if you fall , including how to get up safely

NEW : Beginners Watercolor Classes
Elaine Luneke will be offering a sixweek beginners watercolor class starting Wednesday , April 26 , from 1-3 p . m . in the Wilson Room . There will be a one-week break and another session will begin . If you have watercolor materials you would like to use , please give Elaine a call so she can discuss what you have to work with
and how to access class handouts from her website . To register and inquire about class materials , please call Elaine at 503- 989-1540 . The cost for the session is $ 75 for Charbonneau residents and $ 90 for non-residents .
Paint & Pour with Elaine Luneke
The next Paint & Pour will be from 1-4 p . m . Saturday , April 8 , in the Wilson Room . Elaine Luneke will guide you through a class of watercolor & mixed media . the class is $ 25 per person and all materials are supplied . You just need to bring the wine ! Call her at 503-989-1540 to register .
Inaugural Partners Pitch Tournament April 23
Fifteen years ago , Pitch began as an organized Charbonneau event . So , this year they are officially holding the Inaugural Pitch Tournament at 11 a . m . Sunday , April 23 , in the Hazelglade & Kalapuya Room . The cost is $ 30 per person which includes lunch , and entry fee . You may register at the front desk in the Activity Center April 1-17 or by contacting Dana Richmond at 503-694-6983 . Pick up a flyer with more information at Charbonneau Country Club . All proceeds will go to the Sacajawea Fund .
Downsizing to the Right Size Workshop
Need some inspiration for your organizing project ? Are you downsizing or selling your home ? From 4-5 p . m . Tuesday , April 25 , you are invited to join The Move Makers for a free community presentation on 10 proven strategies for advancing your organizing project , downsizing or preparing your home for the market . In this casual gathering you will have the opportunity to talk about how to move your small or large projects forward . Professional members of their team will be on hand to motivate and answer questions . This proven approach will help you create a solid strategy .
