Board Member of the Month – Stephanie Wyman , PE
Hello ASCE NH ! My name is Stephanie Wyman , and I am one of your ASCE Region 1 Governors . My role as your Governor is to provide your sec on with support and be your connec on to the ASCE Board of Direc on . While this is my second year in this posi on , I have been a member of ASCE since 2013 , and have previously served as the 2022-2023 President of ASCE Vermont and have also served on the board for the Maine Sec on of ASCE .
A few fun facts about me :
· While I absolutely love living in Vermont , New Hampshire will always be home and is of course the right-side-up state .
· I minored in Chinese language and studied abroad in China for seven months in 2008 .
· I was recently recognized as the 2023 Vermont Young Engineer of the Year .
· During the summer of 2020 I hiked all of Vermont ’ s 4,000 footers ( of which there are only 5 ) in prepara on for a long Labor Day Weekend of hiking in the Whites where I climbed Mount Washington ( a long-standing bucket list item ).
· I have a cat named Target , and a 3-year-old rescue dog named Hazel . As you can see , Hazel is the most beau ful and well-behaved dog out there ! She absolutely loves hiking , treats , playing with her friends , chewing s cks , and burying herself in the snow .

I was born and raised in New Hampshire and am a 2011 graduate of the University of Vermont . A er gradua on , I moved to northcentral Pennsylvania for two years , then relocated to Maine before making my way back to Vermont in 2017 . I have been employed with VHB for nearly six years as a Civil Engineer in the Land Development group where I focus Renewable Energy projects .
