YOUNGER MEMBER CORNER
For those of you curious about joining the YMG , our goal is to connect entry-level and emerging engineers in New Hampshire to the larger ASCE network . This allows us to help younger engineers navigate the industry , provide some public speaking opportunities , and sometimes recruit members to join the ASCE-NH Board of Directors . We will typically meet once a month to network , volunteer , or just have some fun . The locations and events vary so please join our email list to receive more information . You do not need to commit to attending every meeting , you will receive email reminders and can attend events as you wish .
The last YMG Social was on March 16 th at the Strikers East Bowling Center where we played a few games of bowling . The next YMG social will be on Monday May 15 th at RelAxe Throwing in Manchester ! We will plan to meet at 6:00pm so we can go through the safety briefing and then start our throwing session at 6:30pm . If you are interested in attending , please reach out to Andrew Martin at andrew . martin2 @ wsp . com by Monday May 8 th so that the reservation can be made . When reaching out to Andrew please also indicate whether you ’ d rather do a 1-hour throwing session for $ 25 per person or a 2-hour throwing session for $ 50 per person . The option with the most votes will be chosen , and an email will be sent to out to everyone who expressed interest indicating which option will be happening . Payment can be made at the day of the event by either Venmo , cash , or check .
