Spring is the season of new beginnings With the lifting of the mask mandate and the opening of the Charbonneau Country Club Activity Center comes the planning of activities .

Activity Center Open House
Please join us as we celebrate the opening of our new activity center . After 2 1 / 2 years of meetings , planning and construction , the doors will be open , the refreshments will be chilling , and the band will be playing .
The event takes place 4-7 p . m . Thursday April 14 .
Charbonneau ’ s Easter Egg Hunt Happens April 16
The FREE Charbonneau Easter Egg Hunt will be held on April 16

outside behind the Country Club . Be sure children dress for the weather and arrive in time to greet the Easter Bunny and Tutu the clown , who will arrive at 9:30 a . m . for photo opportunities . The hunt will start promptly at 10 a . m . We will have Easter baskets for each child to use . After the hunt , the children will bring back the basket , and we give them a “ goodie bag ” in return with their found eggs .
Fifth Friday at Five
“ Fourth Friday at Five ” is back as is “ Fifth Friday at Five ” on Friday April 29 at 5 p . m . At this social event , residents will enjoy hors d ’ oeuvre from one of our approved caterers , and Two-Bit Brothers will perform . Be sure to bring your own beverage and enjoy the company of your fellow Charbonneau neighbors . If you know of someone who has recently moved to Charbonneau , be sure to let them know about this event and how they can purchase tickets , which cost $ 10 . It would be nice to invite newcomers to sit with you , make them feel welcome and introduce them to others .

To attend , you will need to purchase a ticket , which go on sale at 9 a . m . on April 1 . If you put it off , you risk the chance of the event selling out . Only 150 tickets will be sold and the event has been known to sell out in one day .
WilsonvilleSTAGE
WilsonvilleSTAGE will be returning May 13 , 14 , and 15 to perform “ Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike ” by Christopher Durang and directed by Janet Steiger Carr . The play centers around the lives of Vanya , a 50-something gentleman who writes plays about molecules , and his sister , Sonia , a lady with regrets who does a wonderful Maggie Smith impersonation . Their existence takes a Chekhovian turn when their Hollywood starlet sister visits the family house with her current young gentleman friend and decides everyone must go to a costume party dressed as characters from Snow White . Add in a housekeeper with a penchant for outbursts of decidedly psychic origins and a luminous young visiting neighbor who plays a wonderful

molecule and you have a recipe for what will prove to be a delightful evening ( or matinee ) of theater .
Tickets will be available for purchase 9 a . m . April 15 at the CCC Activity Center .
Free document shredding
Windermere Real Estate and Charbonneau Country Club are teaming up to help you with some spring cleaning . A shredding truck will be stationed next to the Windermere building for FREE on-site shredding of documents May 14 10 a . m . -12 p . m . Charbonneau directory changes
Spring is here , and it ’ s time for the CCC office staff to begin updating the Charbonneau Resident ’ s Directory . This booklet is not just a resident directory . It also contains helpful information about Charbonneau businesses , homeowners associations , architectural control

policies and much more .
For those who are already listed , please check to make sure the information in the green-colored 2021 directory is current . The directory information includes resident phone numbers , and it is possible that this information may have changed . The deadline for making changes is May 18 , which is the date of the CCC annual meeting . If you have recently moved to Charbonneau , be sure to contact the CCC office staff at 503-694-2300 or office @ charbonneaucountryclub . com and let them know how you would like to be listed in the directory . The directory will be printed and delivered by the post office exclusively to Charbonneau addresses sometime in June .
