CH-CH- CHANGES . . . .

BLOG FROM LOCAL MOM & FELLOW CHHRC MEMBER

After 11 years in one school district, I decided I needed a change. I put my resume together and set out to start anew. I was offered a position at one of the Marlton Middle Schools. Changing jobs was one of the best things I ever did. It helped me realize my strengths, and opened my mind to new opportunities. With this transition, I felt like a Freshman again... the new kid in school. I also gained the infamous Freshman 15 during my first year. This particular school is set up so efficiently that everything is right at your finger tips. My mailbox, copier, printer, fridge, and microwave are within steps of each other. This may not seem like a problem to you, but for me the lack of steps contributed to my freshman 15.

Thankfully, this school and the entire district promote healthy . . . everything - including a Wellness Day! I was pleasantly surprised to see CHHRC at the Family Wellness Night! How amazing is that?!

Kids had a blast pretending to be Ninjas in the PKfit Obstacle Course, while parents learned about all the programs CHHRC offers kids and adults.

I am so grateful to be part of a district that promotes a healthy lifestyle, and a gym that goes out of its way to inspire kids of all ages.
