wanted to do a little more research about Solomon
- his other writings and his life. That eventually
took me back to Ecclesiastes, and I was just blown
away by it. I felt the book had a discernible and
compelling narrative… basically, a man of means
searching for ultimate meaning and satisfaction in
all the wrong places… and, because of where I
was in life at the time, I really felt it spoke to my
condition and the human condition powerfully and
profoundly, so I was determined to incorporate it
