Key findings Parent-coach relationship
Most parents reported that they knew their child ’ s coach well enough to make small talk ( 35 %) or have lengthy conversations ( 39 %). Only 1 % didn ’ t know who the coach was at all and 3 % knew the coach by sight or name only ( Figure 1 ).

Many ( 63 %) parents reported having direct contact with the coach every session or every couple of sessions ( Figure 2 ).
