Troubleshoot Before Microwave
Repairs
• Malfunctioning microwave
• Check for loose connections and plug the wire into the outlet.
• If the door is partially closed, it will not work. Interestingly, microwaves have an auto-detect
function to curb hazards.
• Check for exploded fuse; then change.
• Invisible sparks on the inside
• Before cooking, remove the aluminum items in the appliance.
• Since metallic utensils can cause sparks, avoid them.
• Repaint any chipped paint part of the microwave. The best substitutes are recommended
paints or an anti-heat resistant epoxy.
• Scrape off all the burnt residues
• Malfunctioning turntable
• If the tracks and rollers are not properly aligned, assemble them in place.
• The glass tray must be a perfect fit for the guide.
