Limeroad is anchored by
Tiger Global Management,
Lightspeed Venture Partners
and Matrix Partners India.
The Gurugram-based firm was
founded by Suchi Mukherjee.
It started as a fashion
marketplace for women,
and now sells apparel and
accessories for men and kids.
It introduced the Limeroad
mobile site in 2017, besides the
kidswear segment Limeroad
Mini. The company has so far
raised about US $ 50 million in
three rounds of funding.

Hopscotch, which is owned and
operated by Hit The Mark, was founded by
Rahul Anand. The company has, till date,
raised an estimated US $ 50 million in equity
financing,

Eduardo
Saverin, the

as one of its
investors.
Saverin had
invested in
the company
in 2015 through his investment firm Velos
Partners. It has brought on board Singapore-
based LionRock Capital; Wei Yan, Co-founder
of Amazon-owned Diapers.com; India Infoline
Ventures and RPG Ventures, among others,
as investors.

and operated FirstCry is the
most heavily funded baby products
e-tailer in India. The omnichannel
baby and mothercare products’
retailer was founded in 2010 by
Supam Maheshwari and Amitava
Saha. Tata Sons’ Chairman Emeritus
Ratan Tata invested in the company
in January 2016. Chiratae Ventures
(formerly known as IDG Ventures);
Valiant Capital Partners; New
Enterprise Associates; SAIF Partners;
Zurich-headquartered private equity
fund Adveq and Vertex Ventures are
among its investors. SoftBank is
planning to invest US $ 400 million
for an over 40 per cent stake in
BrainBees Solutions.

Reddy, the apparel start-up has
forged multiple partnerships with
famous sports and movie personalities
to co-create the brand. It is selling its
brand via online and offline channels.
The company has enhanced its
presence through its fashion brands
that include WROGN, a premier
fashion brand inspired by Virat Kohli;
Jacqueline Fernandez’s IMARA; and
Ms Taken, a westernwear line by
Kriti Sanon. Last year, this Sachin
Tendulkar-backed start-up raised
nearly Rs. 100 crore from Accel and its
Growth Fund, with its valuation rising
to Rs. 1,200 crore post the round. The
round also saw participation from NB
Ventures and venture debt fund Alteria
Capital, with the latter making an
equity investment of US $ 1 million.
