With more than two decades of experience in manufacturing, welding and bonding machines, H & H has developed a range of bonding, seam sealing and pressing machines. The US 501 – Sewfree ultrasonic multi-purpose welder under the US series offered by the company is specifically used for welding. It uses ultrasonic energy which results in a precise seam as the extra material is cut off by the trimmer. Both straight and curved seams can be easily constructed using this machine. The US 501 also indicates the status of the ultrasonic system which can be adjusted according to the material. Also, the materials which have higher thermoplastic content can be welded at a lower temperature, thus requiring lower ultrasonic energy. |
Based in China, Hanfor deals in sew-free garment machine, seamless bonding machine, hemming tape machine, hot air fusing tape machine and bonded underwear machine. Offering sew-free technology for over 10 years, Hanfor’ s HF-801 is used more in case of manufacturing seamless underwear and swimwear for hemming. It has upper and lower belts to adjust speed separately with air blowing and guide slot for independent temperature control stability. Temperature can be set between + 2 ° C and 200 ° C for adhesive applications according to the speed of the machine and the melting point. |
Typical Vetron’ s 5064 flatbed ultrasonic welding machine has an ultrasonic frequency of 35 kHz. Seams up to 12.5 mm wide can be welded using this machine. The welding speed of the machine achievable is 30 m / min. It features anvil wheel of 25 or 45 mm diameter. Another offering by Typical in welding and bonding machines is Vetron 5374, a hot air welding machine. It aims to reduce heat losses with a new air heater, newly-designed 25 mm hot air nozzle, nanoporous thermal insulation and air channel. The newlydesigned nozzle helps to improve the transfer of energy to the tape, and accordingly 90 % of energy can be saved when compared to previous systems. It features puller wheels of diameter 25 mm or 45 mm. |
Macpi, with its presence in the garment industry since 1961, offers bestof-the-class finishing machines. It is also a renowned name in bonding and welding machines for a variety of products, like swimwear, skiing garments, intimatewear, socks, bags, tents, etc. Macpi 700.30 ultrasonic machine is suitable for fabric cutting, welding or decoration. It offers manual adjustment of upper roller, pressure and distance, horn( ultrasonic welding wave generator) and roller speed, and horn power. It has a vertical sonotrode with horizontal roller and offers a frequency range of 20 to 28 kHz. Seams up to 10 mm wide can be welded using this machine. |
With over three decades in special purpose automated machines, UK-based Ardmel Group came out with the first tape seam sealing machine MK-1 in early 70s. Since then, it has been manufacturing bonding and welding technologies to serve the industry. Ardmel offers the H192 under its ultrasonic welding machines range which has functionalities like that of a normal sewing machine. The walking foot and positioning pin holds the material in place to create absolutely waterproof seams. The positioning pin does not pierce the fabric, rather just assists the operator by holding the fabric while negotiating corners. It can operate on seam width as low as 0.2 mm, depending on the fabric used. |
