MINIMUM WAGES & SPECIAL ALLOWANCE PAYABLE TO THE WORKMEN IN THE
GARMENT INDUSTRY IN MAHARASHTRA FOR THE PERIOD 1ST JANUARY 2020 TO
30TH JUNE 2020
The Minimum Wages Payable to the Workmen in the Readymade Garment Industry in Mumbai and
Maharashtra for the Period 1st January 2020 to 30th June 2020 are as under:

In addition to the above, Special Allowance Payable for the Period 01-01-2020 to 30-06-2020 is

WORKING HOURS OF THE ASSOCIATION
We would like to inform the Members that w.e.f. 1st February 2020, all Offices of the Association will be
kept closed on the 2nd & 4TH Saturdays of the Month and the Offices shall remain Open from 10.00
am to 6.30 pm on all other Saturdays of the Month.
WORKSHOP ON NEW GST RETURN
We are glad to inform you that the Association has Organised a Workshop on the “ New GST Return “
for the Benefit of our Members on 7th February 2020 at Dadar. Mr Devraj Deore, Deputy Commissioner
( GST ) Govt of Maharashtra, Mumbai made a Power Point Presentation to the Members on the New
GST Simplified Return which will come into force from April 2020 for ease of Filing, Input Tax Credit (
ITC ) under the new GST system, Amendment Returns etc. Approx. 100 Members attended the said
Workshop.
AMENDED GUJART GARMENT & APPAREL POLICY - 2017
We would like to inform you that the Govt of Gujarat has amended the Gujarat Garment & Apparel
Policy -2017 with effect from 1st February 2020.The said Policy and the Highlights of the Major
Amendments etc have been disseminated to Members of the Association and also Uploaded the same
on our Website www.cmai.in
