FAIR UPDATE
Further on, he appealed to the participants to
request their buyers to register themselves for the
Fair online, to avoid long queues and misspending
of time at the venue. He even informed
participants that no outside food and drinks shall
be permitted at the location.
In addition, Mr Chokshi requested participants
to ask their guests not to get children below 18
years of age to the Fair, as accommodating them
and their needs would call for much hassle
and stress.
With regard to registration badges, he urged
participants to send across a soft copy of their
pictures. After the detailed instructions were
given, Mr Munjal once again took over and the
session recommenced; it began with 42 square
metres, going further ahead in the descending
order. Post the drawing of lots for kids’ wear,
a lunch break was called for and a spread of
delectable foods was served. Soon after lunch,
the Committee started off with the drawing of lots
for the womenswear segment. Before the draw,
however, Mr Chokshi again took the participants
through the dos and don’ts and other policies of
the Fair. Following this, Mr Munjal resumed the
drawing of lots. After the womenswear lots were
drawn, the audience broke loose for a tea break,
wherein steaming hot tea was served along with
scrumptious snacks. Once the break came to
a close, the final round for the drawing of lots
for the menswear category was announced,
and Fair updates and rules were elaborated one
more time. Members on the dais also urged
participants to get in touch with the Committee,
should they have any Fair-related queries.
To sum it up, the Draw of Lots held for the 69th
NGF was rather plain sailing, offering an accurate
insight into the well ordered, streamlined, and
informative nuances of the upcoming Fair.
