RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION
As you are aware, all Members have to Renew their Membership of the Association in April 2019. The
Association has already sent out a Pro forma Invoice dated April 1, 2019 to all the Members with the
request to Renew their Membership for the Financial Year 2019–2020. While most of the Members
have sent their Renewal Subscription, a few Members have yet to Renew their Membership of
the Association.
The Association has sent a Reminder—dated August 1, 2019 to those Members who have still
not renewed their Membership, requesting them to do so at the earliest to avoid discontinuation
of Services. Members can also avail of the Cost Benefit of Paying the Membership Renewal Fee in
Advance for 3–5 years.
Members are requested to also send a Copy of the GST Certificate along with the Renewal to
enable the Association to update the Records and issue the Tax Invoice along with the Receipt to the
Members, upon realisation of the Cheque.
69TH NATIONAL GARMENT FAIR
The 69th National Garment Fair (NGF) , India’s largest Apparel Trade Show , was held from July 15,
2019 to July 18, 2019 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NSE Complex, Goregaon (East), Mumbai 400 063.
The 69th National Garment Fair was Inaugurated by Mr Rahul Mehta, President, CMAI in presence of
Mr Rajesh Masand, Vice President, Mr Rohit Munjal, Chairman, Fair Sub-Committee, Anand Chokshi,
Joint Chairman, Fair Sub-Committee, Members of the Managing Committee & Fair Sub-Committee, Mr
Ankit Agarwal, Business Head, Udaan, Exhibitors, Visitors, and the Media.
A Total of 882 Exhibitors (974 Stalls) Presenting 1,062 Brands and covering a Gross Area of
Approximately 7,00,000 Square Feet Participated in the Winter Fair. This was the Largest ever Trade
Fair Organised by the Association. 42,386 Visitors visited this Four-Day Fair.
The ‘Business Networking Session’ Organised by the Association between Exhibitors and Agents
and Distributors was well-received by the Exhibitors who Participated in this Session.
The Fair was well received by all the Exhibitors and Retailers.
63RD INDIA INTERNATIONAL GARMENT FAIR
The 63rd India International Garment Fair (IIGF) Spring/Summer 2020 was held from July 4–6,
2019 at India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh). A Total of 329 Exhibitors, Covering an
Area of 6,900 Square Metres, Participated in the said Fair. The 63rd IIGF was jointly Inaugurated by
Shri Shantmanu, IAS, Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) and Shri Rahul Mehta, Chairman,
International Garment Fair Association (IGFA), in the presence of Shri Lalit Thukral, Vice Chairman,
IGFA, and Shri Rajiv Dewan, President, Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR).
A Total of 683 Overseas Buyers (448 Companies) from 66 Countries and 424 Buying Agents Visited
the Three-Day Fair.
53 Exhibitors (16 per cent of the Total Participation) Participated through CMAI in the 63rd India
International Garment Fair.
