Suket Dhir known for his award-winning
men’s wear brought ‘Play’, a ‘He for She’ line
in brocades, Digi prints, satin silks, Jamdani
and cotton khadi for lounge suits, bombers,
blazers, shirts, trousers with clouds, umbrellas,
mango and mango tree motifs. Pratima
Pandey’s Pramaa label presented ‘Ektara’, a
line in Maheshwari fabrics that had embroidered
kurtas, dresses, saris, jackets and shawls. Rahul
Mishra celebrated 10 years with his ‘Memory’
collection that brought back his iconic looks in a
new version, with Aari and resham work on tulle,
organza and velvet with a few stripes.
DAY TWO
From men’s wear designer Dhruv Vaish, it was
‘Meld’, a line of geometric prints and textures
in experimental fabrics with satin, cotton and
wool in navy, purple, brown and yellow, featuring
bombers, long coats, layered jackets, high-

waisted pants, and t-shirts. Huemn’s collection
was a tribute to Kashmir with panelling, multi
materials, hand-cut rubber sheets, leather
appliqué and prints that were designed for
genderless clothes in denim and fleece.
Kommal and Ratul Sood brought Savile Row
precision in grey and blue with youthful badges,
trims and inserts for men’s wear. Siddharth
Bansal’s deep jewel tones brought skirts, jackets,
blouses, pants and coats, some with quilting, for
the coming season.
Manoviraj Khosla’s ‘Kaleidoscopia’ line had
metallic foil prints with embroidery on velvet
jackets and shoes for a starry look. Nikita
Mhaisalkar’s look had brown pine, beetroot, old
rose, pewter and moss green for hand-spun
hemp and merino wool featuring layered oversized
shapes. Pooja Shroff’s line ‘Resist Aur Dye’ was
attributed to Indonesian batik in black, gold and
grey prêt wear on suede, silk, crêpe and cotton.
