DAY PARAD

The parade featured over 100 entries, including marching bands from all Arlington high schools, historic military vehicles from the Arrowhead Military Vehicle Preservation Association, and ROTC units from Texas Tech and Baylor University. The route passed entertainment landmarks such as Choctaw Stadium and the future site of the National Medal of Honor Museum, set to open in March 2025.
Major General Patrick Henry Brady, a retired U. S. Army officer and Medal of Honor recipient for his heroic actions in Vietnam, served as the Grand Marshal. Actor and Marine Corps veteran Barry Corbin, known for his roles in Northern Exposure and Yellowstone, was the Master of Ceremonies, providing commentary from the reviewing stand.
The Arlington Police Department played an important role in securing the event, ensuring a safe and seamless experience for all attendees. APD officers led the parade procession and members of the APD Mounted Unit proudly rode along the route. Many officers within APD are veterans themselves, having served in the military or continuing to serve in a reserve capacity, making the event even more meaningful to the department.
Following the parade, attendees enjoyed a patriotic drone show near Globe Life Field and live music at Texas Live! The event was organized by the Texas Veterans Day Parade in Arlington Foundation and sponsored by the City of Arlington, with additional support from the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation.
