INDUSTRY REPORT Industry Compensation increases over 2 year period 6.3% The Apartment Association of Metro Denver has conducted an industry compensation study every other year since 1999. In this year’s (2020/21) study and report, there was an overall increase in compensation 6.3% since the last time we collected data two years ago. Annualized this would equate to 3.2% increase per year. Compensation data was collected for 2,717 people who work in the Metro Denver apartment industry. These individuals were from 30 different management companies who operate 469 apartment communities, and 119,292 apartment units. The average community size was 254 units. Most of the management companies would be considered medium to large size, but there were some small management companies included in the data. There were over 45,000 pieces of data imputed into the survey and the final report is available now! The report sells for $529 through September (the price will increase to $599 on October 1.)
