MAP Graduates 27 Students, 23 Placed
The Maintenance Apprenticeship Program
(MAP) held two sessions in its third year of
existence. The AAMD did not have funding
through the CDLE WORK Act grant this
year, but still had successful enrollment,
completions and placement numbers.
27 students were enrolled and of those,
23 students successful completed the
program and are currently working in the
industry.
As construction continues in the Metro
Denver area, it is clear the need for MAP
is still there. The AAMD plans to apply for
additional funding to have the resources
to offer more sessions and continue to
fill the industry need of maintenance
professionals.
