And why not? These past years, we spoke up on strategic and meaningful topics such as“ Lokal is beautiful” and“ Klima”, alongside our commercial campaigns. But we felt it was time for the brand to rebuild an emotional connection with the wider public. Kapav is the term MCB chose to express the shared energy that defines Mauritius. It highlights our resilience and creativity— qualities that have enabled the country to emerge as a benchmark on the African continent.
So, Kapav is essentially a mindset?
Indeed. It’ s a simple yet powerful term that resonates with every Mauritian. It reflects an attitude: believing in our impact, feeling capable of facing instability and change. Kapav is a collective energy, a resolutely optimistic mindset that pushes us forward, together. It also means celebrating our successes as a nation. One striking example: just a few days after the campaign’ s launch( featuring Team MCB with the headline“ Moris Kapav”), Kim Lecourt made history by winning a stage of the Tour de France, perfectly embodying the Kapav spirit.

How did this campaign come to life, and what message does it convey?
Our region is facing global instability, and it is our responsibility to help shape solutions that will allow us to navigate it better. Through Kapav, MCB aims to give renewed meaning to its purpose and reaffirm its role as a driver of progress and a trusted partner. Kapav expresses a desire to take action; it encourages everyone to believe in their potential and make a difference.
For everyone who identifies with it! First and foremost, our employees: change starts with us. We must continue developing solutions that better meet our customers’ needs and improve our services.
