Break-In Course with Polito Ulloa
BRASIL - HELVETIA POLO CLUB
A new initiative for the growth of Polo stretched out
to Brazil between May 22 and 24. A Break-In Cour-
se by Polito Ulloa was held at Helvetia Polo Club,
with the support and promotion of the AACCP.
Co-organizer Javier Cabrera Castilla, gives us
his impressions: “The first Break-in Course held
in Brazil with Polito was innovative; very practical
and illuminating for all those who like taming and
horses. There are still many things to improve, but
it was very practical, and in the near future we shall
repeat the experience”..
The event was organized by Javier Cabrera Casti-
lla and Sergio Magrini, with cooperation from Fa-
bio Diniz Junqueira, who inserted this concept of
holding clinics abroad, thus resulting in excellent
repercussions within the polo environment due to
the importance of the issue for the promotion and
growth of the Polo Argentino breed.
Sergio Magrini: “The first course was at Helvecia,
Brazil, many people gathered there and it was very
good and we did very well. Everyone was very ha-
ppy and Polito let them see that very simply, things
that are really complex can be done, based on
building up the horses from the start; doing things
right, one can reach a very good end-of-the-line
when you know what it’s all about and what you
have to do.
The second, at Lavinia, Polito’s farm in Lincoln,
surpassed our expectations; people there were
very satisfied. After that we went to Colombia, also
a large gathering.”
