Dolfina B09 Cuartetera Clon 9
took home the Palermo awards
A new Argentine High-Goal season has come to an end, and in relation to horses, it provided a
surprise: a clone of Dolfina Cuartetera, B09, won the two awards, that of the AACCP and of the AAP,
after La Dolfina’s triumph at Palermo.

The Argentine Association of Polo Pony Breeder’s
award to the Best Polo Argentino Product and the
Argentine Rural Association Award both went to
Dolfina B09 Cuartetera. The prize was handed out
by both presidents, Mr. Santiago Ballester and Agr.
Engineer Daniel Pelegrina respectively.
The Susan Townley Cup to the Best-Playing Pony
of the final went to Dolfina B09 Cuartetera Clon
9, played by Adolfo Cambiaso, who received the
award and the horse-blanket from the National
Minister of Agro-Industry, Luis M. Etchevehere and
from the AAP advisor, Federico Virasoro, who also
presented the Tito Lezcano trophy to the grooms of
the winning horse of the Lady Susan Townley Cup,
Juan M. Aneas and Gustavo Gómez.
Thus, Judges Ignacio Toccalino and Alejandro
Agote considered that all the awards should go to

Cuartetera 09, characterized by the fact that she
was conceived, raised, broken-in and trained for
Polo in the United States, and at the early age of
five years—born 03-27-2012—got off with all the
prizes.
In 2017, Dolfina Cuartetera B09 Clon 9 had already
received an award in the United States after playing
the CV Whitney Cup final, where she was awarded
the horse-blanket to Best-Playing Registered Polo
Argentino Product at Palm Beach. She was also
given an award as BPP (Best-Playing Pony) of the
US Open final, a trophy that remained in the hands
of Valiente Polo Team.
After the American season, the mare traveled to
Argentina and prepared to face the High-Goal
season which ended with a standing ovation for
her at Palermo.
