THE OPEN
CHAMPIONS
Ever since 1993, the AACCP (Argentine
Association of Polo Pony Breeders)
awards a prize to the most
outstanding Polo Argentino Pony of
the Argentine Open Championship Final,
the most prestigious Tournament in
the world, which translates into 23
years running handing out our award.
It is our wish this year to pay homage to the Horses
and their Breeders, and through this achievement
position them among the best Polo Pony Breeders
in the world, and have pictures of all those champion
ponies as a reminder of this important award.

It must be pointed out that in the case of most of
the prizes we clearly perceive consistent female
bloodlines, and in other cases, the awards have
given rise to a superior female bloodline.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the work
related to Selection that has been carried out by
the AACCP, based on results achieved and the
progress of a greater number of superior Polo
Argentino Products, not only in the Opens but at
different Polo levels in Argentina and in the most
important Tournaments in the world.
Pepe Heguy:
“Polo Pureza played with a gag and 4 reins all her life; she
was sublimely soft-mouthed, extremely comfortable; had
a huge heart and was very healthy. She played during 13
seasons and never once missed a game.”
