Reader : He guides me along the right path ; he is true to his name . If I should walk in the valley of darkness no evil would I fear . You are there with your crook and your staff ; With these you give me comfort . All : The Lord is my shepherd ; there is nothing I shall want .
Reader : You have prepared a banquet for me in the sight of my foes .
My head you have anointed with oil ; my cup is overflowing . All : The Lord is my shepherd ; there is nothing I shall want .

Jacquelyn A reading from St Paul to the Romans ( 6 : 3-4 , 8-9 )
When we were Baptised in Jesus Christ , we were Baptised in His death ; in other words when we were Baptised we went to the tomb with Him and joined Him in death , so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father ’ s glory , we too might live a new live . But we believe that having died with Christ we shall return to life with Him : Christ , as we know , having been raised from the dead will never die again . Death has no power over him anymore .
