OPENING PRAYER ( Please stand )
Cel : Into your hands , O Lord , we humbly entrust our sister Antonietta . In this life you embraced her with your tender love ; deliver her now from every evil and bid her enter eternal rest . The old order has passed away : welcome her then into paradise , where there will be no sorrow , no weeping nor pain , but the fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever .

LITURGY OF THE WORD FIRST READING ( Please be seated ) Louise A reading from the Prophet Isaiah ( 25 : 6-9 )
Here on this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a banquet for all people . A banquet of the richest foods and finest wines . He will suddenly remove the cloud of sorrow that has been hanging over all the nation . The Sovereign Lord will destroy death for ever .
He will wipe away the tears from everyone ’ s eyes and take away the disgrace his people have suffered throughout the world . The Lord himself has spoken . When it happens everyone will say , ‘ Here is our God ! We have put our trust in him and he has rescued us . He is the Lord ! We have put our trust in him , and now we are happy and joyful because he has saved us .’
