But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both
in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Act 1:8
our youth participated one week during the summer with
Ocoee Outreach. They worked in a community garden,
mowed properties, visited homes (ladies), gutted homes
for remodel, removed fencing, and built/repaired parts of
homes. They also went on a prayer walk.
WMU
The ladies participated in Family Promise, Jail
Ministry, collections for the Caring Place, Christian
Women's Job Corp, collections Ocoee Outreach,
breakfast for the Denning Center, food for our
Townsend mission team, lunch for the Pastor and Staff,
and collection for Women at the Well.
Baptist Men on Mission
The BMOM built multiple steps and ramps for church
members. They repaired outlets, mended baseboards,
shelving, installed a gate for a fence, installed posts
and lights for a sidewalk, added vinyl fence, and
painted on the church property. The men fed the church
members involved in mission trips this year and by
helping set up for a Yard Sale to help support their
trips.
Ministry Nights
NCBC scheduled two Ministry Nights during the year
our choir led worship at Bradley Health Care & Rehab
both ministry nights with fellowship afterwards with
the residents, Deacons served Communion with our
Homebound or Nursing Home members, packed shoe
boxes for Operation Christmas Child, and put together
gifts for Ocoee Middle School teachers.
Approximately 250 people were involved in these
ministries.
Judea (State)
Church
The church contributes financially to Golden State
Missions, Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes, Tennessee
Baptist Children’s Home, and the Tennessee Baptist
Convention.
We partner with an arm of the Chilhowee Baptist
Association know as CHARM (Charm Area Ministries)
to provide free Day Camps and Family Fun Nights for
the KOA Campground in Townsend, TN. As part of each
gathering, participants are presented with the Gospel in
association with our activities. Three adults and four
children from our church hosted day of camps, reaching
an average of 15 children per day and 60 individuals for
the Family Nights. Watermelons, bottled waters, snacks
and sugar cookies were collected and distributed

Donate to Annie Armstrong and Golden Offering for
State Missions. Collected Cokes for the Smoky
Mountain Resort Ministries.

Several from our church participated with BBA during
fall break with a trip to Washington, DC
Uttermost Parts of the Earth (International)

• Participates in Operation Christmas Child each year.
Our church filled 1,331 shoeboxes. Over 200 people
supplied items to go in these boxes.
NCBC gives financial support to Jackie Leggett-
Stanley Family, International Mission Board and One Heart
Africa. The church also gives financial support to Stephanie
Miller. Stephanie Miller does ministry in foreign countries.

We had a group of 16 youths and adults go to Puerto
Rico to assist with a feeding program, Children’s Ministry,
worked on four houses, unloaded a FEMA truck, helped
load dirt into raised garden beds to provide a way to grow a
sustainable food source in a mountain community cut off by
Hurricane Maria.

• Support One Heart Africa, Lottie Moon Offering, and
donated for young lady to go on a mission trip to Israel.

Children’s Ministry
• Our Children and Preschool Department collected
money for One Heart Africa during VBS. Operation
Christmas Child donations were collected during AWANA.

• The GA’s sold Christmas cards and baked goods to
raise money for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering.
Also, they participated in the OCC Packing Party.
