Ocoee Middle School Church Partners
We are “Church Partners” with Ocoee Middle School
and the childcare at our church, North Cleveland
Baptist Child Development Center with approximately
140 teachers and staff. We have provided meals and
small gifts of encouragement.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
Our church began a new way for more people to get
involved in the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
The daughter of a deceased secretary of our church,
who loved collecting and preparing shoeboxes, started
a year-long project of collecting for the boxes. It was
named “Shirley’s Boxes.” This has involved just about
everyone in our church. We sent 1,331 boxes in the
Fall of 2017.

Cleveland’s Downtown Block Party
Each year our church has a booth at the Downtown Block
Party and makes pictures of people participating in the
Block Party with a back-drop of a church and the year on
it. The pictures are on our website for participants to
download. Each person is contacted after the Block Party
and invited to special services.
