We will always be Baptist!
We need to evaluate the trends around us. In the future....
1. Few associations will have full-time leadership.
2. Traditional supplemental funding avenues will be reduced or
eliminated.
3. A need for regionalization.

We need to drop the geographical boundary of the “Bradley” name. We
already have more churches outside of our county.
7.
We don't want any hindrances to our work but want to open the door to
future opportunities

The name change is designed to position us for the future and open up
boundaries.

What matters most is how we conduct ourselves in the next ninety days. If
you have suggestions or comments, please let the ad-hoc team know.

The vote will on Thursday Feb. 4 th
10. The 2016 Budget was voted on and passed.
1. A question was asked if the staff increase exceeded the 2% church increase. It did
not.
11. Pastor Shane Lawson, Parkway Baptist, prayed over the budget and the rename
presentation.
12. Randy Bonner gave a brief Ministry Evangelism report.
1. We mobilized 2800 people over the past year and we had 150 professions of faith.
2. We have a Disaster Relief team currently in South Carolina due to the recent
flooding.
13. Pastor Jamie Work, Candies Creek, concluded the business session.

Evening Session 6:30PM
1. Pastor Alan Lovelace, Waterville Baptist, welcomed everyone and gave the opening
prayer.
2. Special singing was performed by the Waterville Choir
3. Randy Bonner introduced the Washington, DC Panel
1. The panel consisted of our DC Church Partners, Zack Randles (Waterfront Church)
and Zack Bekele (Gilgal Church); Phil Taylor; Jake Beard and Shane Lawson.
2. Jonathan Pigg from Candies Creek gave a testimony about being a worship leader on
the recent DC mission trip
2. Phil Taylor, Director of Missions of the Bradley Baptist Association led the Washington,
DC Panel discussion
3. Jake Beard concluded the DC panel time in prayer.
4. Brandon Edwards, Waterville Baptist, led the congregation on worship
5. Phil Taylor spoke briefly about his recent Nepal trip
