The Big 4 Week Professional Transition Program
This activity was organised in partnership with the leading four
accounting firms in Malaysia, namely PriceWaterhouseCoopers,
KPMG, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte. Held over four days, the event
was very popular among students across all disciplines. The
sessions aimed to prepare students for recruitment by these firms
and provided insights into the skills and attitudes that are sought
after. The Professional Transition Program (PTP) was developed to
support final-year students as they prepare to make the transition
from university to workplace. Wobb, GradMalaysia, Bio-Economy
Academy, General Electric and Honeywell were some of the
organisations that participated in the PTP this year.
Global Opportunities Fair: Internship and Work Abroad
This inaugural event was organised to highlight work and internship
opportunities that are available abroad. Students are able to gain
work experience while they broaden their horizons travelling and
learning about new cultures in different countries.
Monash Career & Internship Fair 2017
This annual event is a platform for students to better understand
their career prospects and employment opportunities in various
industries through direct engagement with exhibiting employers.
This year's exhibition showcased 53 employers and recorded a
turnout of 2289 students.
Monash Industry Appreciation Reception
We ended the year with a reception held as a gesture of
appreciation to our industry partners. Guests included school
industry advisory panel members and employer engagement
partners offering internships and graduate recruitment.
