2013-2014 Season 2013-2014 season sponsored by The Home Depot and Chevron. “One of the first professional theatre productions I ever saw was Five Guys Named Moe at Ford’s in 1992. Seeing that level of production in such a unique space had me hooked; I’m sure part of my decision to become a designer came out of that experience. Working at Ford’s, in one of the places where it all began for me, is like coming home. Having been fortunate enough to be part of at least five shows on Ford’s uniquely raked forestage has given me a unique understanding of the relationship between live actors and live audience. In some respects, it’s like going back in time to Victorian stagecraft, with one foot stepping proudly forward into today. Ford’s exceptional commitment to Lincoln’s legacy, education, and entertainment keeps theatre professionals and audiences returning time and time again for a special one-ofa-kind experience.” The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee music and lyrics by William Finn; book by Rachel Sheinkin; conceived by Rebecca Feldman; additional material by Jay Reiss; music direction by Christopher Youstra; choreographed by Michael Bobbitt; directed by Peter Flynn Featuring: Carolyn Agan, Matthew A.
